I was just diagnosed with diverticulitis. I eat clean and i am in shock. I'm on flagyl and Cipro. I'm so depressed. I had a CT scan but will never get a colonoscopy. Too many dangers attached to it I'm on my second day and im so impatient. This disease sucks!! Sending healing prayers to all that are suffering 🙏

Actually meats are one of the better things to have in your diet. Best thing is to stay hydrated and avoid constipation which is the #1 thing that will triger Diverticulitis. I recognized some bouts going bact to my pre-teen years. The 1st really bad bout was when I moved into my 1st apartment. Not drinking and eating junk food all day triggered. A bout. I went to the IR and the quack doctor removed my appendix for no reason.

Good on you for caring so much for your animal on top of your children. I've never been an animal person so I don't fully understand the why, but can see it's a lot of work. Hope he feels better.

I know sometimes the give a rabies vaccine that is good for 3 years (at least here in the US). Hope and pray Oliver will make a full recovery

So glad to see you back Joanna. I missed you. BTW, I have horrible SIBO too. I have been taking NAC. It has changed my life for the better. I would think they have it in Canada. I get mine from Amazon. I take 3 capsules a day . Take on an empty stomach 30 minutes before any food. I am so grateful I have found this awesome natural supplement.

I love paddle boarding, it’s so relaxing. Definitely keep the life jacket on all the time though. Would love to see more of the journey!

I've never done paddleboarding/Kayaking. but I am interested. My daughter went on a SUP when she was about 8 (sitting with an adult who did the paddling.) she loved it then. Please share more info. metro detroit and we just moved to a place on the lake.

Great to see you taking up something just for you, JoAnna. My daughter paddle boarded off Burlington beach, mostly after dinner with a friend. Two safety things they do is get glow sticks from dollar stores to wear if it is near dusk. When they are coming back from paddle. They also leave a battery lite latern on beach to guide them back, only had to use once or twice to navigate back to where their things are on beach. They wear wetsuits in early spring and late fall. Safety first!

I got a paddle board last year I am not good at it but I ended up sitting down on it and talking my 3 kids on it with me. It was so fun and the kids loved it.

I have the same SUP but not the kayak version. The best purchase I ever made was an electric pump that plugs into the car lighter. It pumps it automatically with no effort...but I don't have space to store mine inflated. The Halton women's group does sunrise paddles and other meet-ups. (I'm also an introvert and have never actually been. ;) )

I kayak. I have a used 12 ft and love it.

I’ve followed for a long time prior to the pandemic but I will never forget the content you created during the pandemic that made me feel so validated while I navigated things I thought were difficult back then to now dealing with things I never expected. I hope you feel better soon. I did a 30 day Carnivore protocol -basically an elimination diet where you only eat meat for 30 days, then add in one food at a time to see what doesn't make you feel good. It was so amazing!!! So many things were improved or healed!

I wish I would have done this wirh my 90's and early 2000's clothes! I got rid of so many flare jeans, sweater vest, and crop tops!
